I've had my t60p for about a month now,but I've only just now formatted a cd for the first time on it.

Every other computer I've ever used took 15-20 minutes to format a cd no matter which software I was using.

I use Nero on all my computers and averaged about 16-18 minutes until I loaded nero on my t60p.

My thinkpad has the dvd-ram, and I just formatted 2 cd's for drag and drop. Each one only took 8 minutes to format  .

That's less than half the time I'm used to! Needless to say, I'm a happy camper. :) :) :)
