Mine just arrived today (thank god I didn't pay for it). If you have any questions, or want to see how various bits look, let me know. I will try and fit in everything, so my review is as complete as possible.

Here is a hint of things to come... (picture attached)

Right now my dad is playing with the laptop. Took it off the charger, started her up full brightness with wifi on, and crusing around it is staying around 5.5 hours of battery life. Not too shabby for a 1.73 P-M with the normal battery.

EDIT: 93% and moved up to 6 hours and 15 min. :-O

:p Testing it out first. Been kidna busy with a few things, so doing the benchmarking and stuff first, as I can kinda let them run w/o me in place.

This beast reminds me of those "my first..." line of toys. Lots of plastic, but **** its durable.

I recently purchased a C100 with the Celeron M370, 80GB hard drive, and CD/RW - DVD/ROM drive for $299 AR from Office Depot. I really like the tough build of the notebook, even though it isn't pretty on the outside. Once opened up, however, the keyboard is beautiful and very functional.

The Celeron M370 isn't that slow, now that I added 1GB of memory to the stock 512 MB which the notebook shipped with. I have Office 2007 installed, and the notebook still boots up in a reasonable amount of time, and Word 2007, etc., open up very fast, considering the processor.

I am very happy with this machine for the price I paid, and chose it because of its durability, long battery life, and cost. This is my very first notebook I have ever owned, so I don't have anything else to compare, except a Dell B120 which a friend brought over one day and which I played with a little.

I think my C100 is much nicer than the B120. The B120 seems more like a toy, and takes a long time to boot. I haven't tried the wireless yet, since I am waiting for a router which is being shipped to me, and a backpack for the notebook, so I can take it with me to hotspots.

I'm also happy with XP Pro on the notebook, since the Celeron M370 can handle it much better than I imagine it would Vista...
