    Hi,

    When my T61p is running with Battery ( Not AC adapter conected ) I can hear very accute Buzz, Why ? What is this ?

    Which CPU do you have in your laptop?

    Like steve said, It might be the CPU.

    I would also check the Nvidia control panel, and see if the "Extend battery life by using less power for the display" is checked, because it could be throttling the backlight.

    Just follow BrendaEM instructions in the Control Panel.
    Also others have noticed a humming noise with the new Penryn CPUs. You may want to Google it and see if there is a solution if what BrendaEM suggested doesn't fix your problem.
