Hi people
I've been checking this lenovo w510 for a while and would like to buy one, im going to hongkong (that ppl say the price is second to the US). But it seems that its much more pricey in hk than usa.
now i have options: either buying in usa (that is impossible for me) or find an ecoupon for the hk w510 which i prefer which i dunno how (cant read chinese).
so i really appreciate if someone can share coupon websites for the hk lenovo.

if you can't buy the laptop from USA then that can't be an option for you. If you need a cheap Thinkpad laptop, you would need to get the grey imports, the official online price of Thinkpads are not cheap.

I was in Hong Kong myself the past 2 weeks and to be honest, I think you'll be dissapointed with the prices of Lenovo's there in comparison to the US. Prices are very similar to that of European countries and bear in mind they have taxes there to pay on top unlike Hong Kong. It is a bit uncanny that a Chinese company sells their computers in their local region more expensive than elsewhere in the World. Since Hong Kong has an official Lenovo store in Sha Tin you can try to negotiate a price to see if they can budge for you for the W510. While I doubt they bring big discounts it may still be worth a try. The last time I went there, all Thinkpads they sell have 3 years international warranty as standard in the price.
Since you're going to HK another tip is to choose a slightly low end configuration (i.e. not that much RAM, small HDD) and buy those upgrades in the Golden Computer Center in Sham Shui Po where they sell those components very cheaply which should save some money compared to the official Lenovo prices.
You may also try some auction sites such as eBay HK which sells W510 cheaply but if they come from overseas then be prepared to pay any customs taxes. Otherwise the only real way to get a cheap Thinkpad is to go to the USA and buy one there. I'm already planning a trip to New York just to get a Thinkpad there myself! -

@Acerics
my friend sent me this article, he said the place there stocks lot of grey imports when he visited Hong Kong sometimes ago. It is located in Mongkok, but you have to haggle a bit to get the best price.
