    Hello guys

I used to trust IBM with the products they offer, so I purchased my first laptop (i-series), then upgraded to R51 and now looking for the thin product T43. But due to the concerns that Lenovo has bought this IBM PC Segment, I am afraid if the product I will buy (the T43) will have less quality and realibility because of the Lenovo control of the company. If you are in my situation, would you go ahead and buy the T43?

Yes, because Lenovo has had no impact on teh development of the T43. We'll see their hand at work in the next round of updates.

Well, rest assured all will be okay for sometime. The same people that design IBM laptops will be kept for 5-years at least and not a whole lot will change for that amount of time. Also, the government is blocking the sale of IBM PC to Lenovo right now due to security/intellectual property concerns (which is silly since PCs are low tech at this point) so that'll slow down the whole Lenovo take over process.

In other words, no worries, buy away with the T43.
