I have a few questions regarding this topic. How does the warranty on the t410 machine work, do they all have international service? For example J&R in NYC(where I´ll be going) could´t give me an awenser if this: http://www.jr.com/lenovo/pe/LEN_2518C3U/ had IWR!

Iam also looking for a good place in NYC to make this purtache, so if any local resident knows a good place that would be great :)

I´ve also considered getting the notebook from an ebay reseller, have anyone tried this and had a good experiance? I´d imagen alot of EU people does this kinda deals because it literary saves 1000$ on a fairly standard t410.

If I am not mistaken the Serial No. of the machine you linked to is: 2518-C3U. You could go to the Lenovo website>to the warranty section and put in the number there and see what it comes up with. Chances are that it is covered by an International Warranty. Use this link. Sorry can't help with with the other part of your query.

I bought my T410 brand new from an eBay Lenovo authorized reseller and I am a happy customer. Item was brand new and everything was as it should be.
The biggest plus when buying from eBay is that you save on sales tax. Plus you can get Bing cash back and eBay bucks as well.
Just make sure you check the sellers feedback, ratings thoroughly before pulling the trigger.
