    Taking the plunge to buy a T400 or T500, not sure which model yet, but are there any Lenova sales anywhere. Where's the best place to buy? I was thinking maybe Lenova outlet unless any other suggestions?

    I purchased a ThinkPad years ago from an on-line reseller (CDW, I think). I regretted it later when IBM (before Lenovo) offered a trade-up program for past customers. The program only applied to those who purchased direct from IBM.

    I don't know if Lenovo ever offers anything like that, but unless I can save on obscene amount of money, I'd rather buy direct, myself.

    Outlet is pretty nice, there is several T400's for under $600 in there right now.
