    Buy.com gets rid of selection

    I could be wrong but it appears that buy.com has taken away most of its thinkpad models. Theres a total of 12 systems listed.

    There are cheaper places than Buy.com.

    I actually have a question for you zaz. IS the IBM warranty still maintained even though you arent buying directly from IBM?


    I just like buy.com because its a very reputable store

    If you go through Buy.com you don't get the same 30-day no questions asked return policy that the IBM (Lenovo.com) direct order gives you.

    Yes I agree the 30 day return policy is very nice indeed, but the prices on Lenovo's site are 10-15% higher. Plus you'll have to pay tax on there. I guess it depends on how committed you are. If you know it is what you want and can live with a stuck pixel or two, the internet will offer the best price.

    Usually being related to or knowing someone who works there is usually the cheapest.

    I bought my T43 from Buy.com

    I rarely return anything. I also don't feel entitled to things. I research what I need and buy whatever fits my needs. With proper research why would anybody need to return a product unless it's defective?
