Has anyone purchased a refurbished laptop from Lenovo outlet?
    Was your experience positive? :)

If buying a business laptop (ThinkPad) you should be golden. The IdeaPad series I wouldn't buy refurbished.

+1 It takes some effort to get the unit you want, you have to watch the outlets and be prepared to take the plunge when your unit appears plus delivery time is slower than a normal retail site. The product, however, is normally in great shape and price is a bargain.

Every time I've bought from the manufacturer outlet, beit Lenovo, Dell, HP, Apple, etc., it's looked new to me.

I just bought a Thinkpad 11e Yoga from the Outlet as a scratch and dent. It is absolutely flawless. I've bought two refurbs before from there, and they were all perfect. One refurb was 100% new and never used. The other I wasn't 100% sure, might have been an open box, or a true refurb.

I've bought a refurbed Thinkpad from a non-Lenovo out, and it still runs fine over a year later. I may go direct to the OEM next time, though.
