I've decided on buying a T410 however I'm trying to decide if I should spring for it now or wait a bit longer. How frequently does Lenovo have sales? I'm going to order the laptop within the next month and I'd like to get the best deal possible. Should I wait until a better deal comes along than the earth day sale or just spring for it now?
    Thanks,
    Scott54

I'd definitely get one now. Lenovo just came out with the T410 a few months back.
Their next refresh isn't until the end of the year"ish".

In terms of price is this going to be as good as it gets in the next month or should I wait for a better sale to come along?

I just check the Lenovo site, and at $829 starting price for a T410, I think I would just get it now. As far as any additional sales/coupons, I'd check back every few weeks just to see if something new comes up (as far as sales/coupons, there is a link at the beginning of this forum with a link to the coupons).
However, like I said, if I needed a Thinkpad now, I'd just get one now IMO

Right now seems to be a pretty good time to buy a T410s, theres a 15% coupon for it the last time i checked.

Theres also a 15% coupon for the T410 (which is better than the 10% I had a few weeks ago), but then the discrete graphics option is missing if that matters to you.

There is an equivalent visa perks, but remember the laptops are usually already "marked down" so it isn't a 35% off say $829. It might be 35% off of $1000 or something. But worth checking into to find the absolute lowest.

For Canadians, there's a good deal shown here at RFD.

Christmas time is the best time to buy from what I've seen.

Quite a long wait for someone in the market for a machine.

At that point you'd have already recouped any savings from the sheer value of using it for over at least half a year.
