I decided to screw the X200s due to the lack of an LED WXGA screen, and also due to the much higher price. Settled for a better-performing but slightly heavier X200 instead
Intel Core 2 Duo processor P8600 (2.40GHz 1066MHz 3MBL2)
Genuine Windows Vista Home Basic (I have my own license for Vista Business and XP Pro)
2 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 (1 DIMM)
80GB Hard Disk Drive, 5400rpm (I'm getting my own 7200RPM HD)
Intel WiFi Link 5300
X200 4 cell Slim Line Battery
1 Year Depot/Express Warranty
Final price after shipping and taxes: $1,284.35 (Canadian)
Can't wait till it arrives
Oh btw, this is my first ever Thinkpad!

I just received mine yesterday and before it did I was afraid that I might regret not waiting for the x200s but after I used it, I am happy I got it. Faster CPU and a great bargain. Enjoy the wait.

this week will be my 4th week of torture (aka waiting for my x200) -
The wait is not so bad.
I am still torn as to whether or not to keep my x61s. The screen real estate, keyboard, brightness of the screen and sheer power of the x200 makes me love this machine though.
Here is my set up:
2.4ghz P8600
2gb DDR3
80gb Vista basic (already swapped to 250gb XP PRO)
5100
9 cell battery
bluetooth
1 year depot warranty
Final Price $1070 after shipping and taxes
Cost less than my x61s when I bought it. I am definitely getting better battery life from the x200, which is odd because the x61s has the low voltage processor. haha, strange.
Broke down and ordered my X200
