Just got my new e420s few days ago, and I ordered it from lenovo. Noticed some issues with the battery. The battery would suddenly drop from 45% to 6%. And the battery time is less than 3hrs even if it fully charged. I was only doing some documents and light web surfing. I have tried updating the firmware of the battery and updated power manager as well. Anyone else having similar issues? Solutions?

For future references. Call lenovo for tech support and give u a case number that you can take to local business partner for warranty service. My battery was defective and getting a replacement. Still under warranty. Thank god!
