Hi everyboby,
I lost one of the bottom rubber little pieces. Please help me to find the english name of this little pieces of rubber that save scratch from desk when the notebook is on them. I think itìs a simple name but I dont know it and so it's impossible to make some kind of search to find a place where to buy it.
I own a Thinkpad T61P.
Many many thanks in advance for helping me.
Bye
Marco

This sort of question pops up a lot; I've never heard them called anything other than rubber feet. If there is another official, technical name, it beats me.
You can Google notebook rubber feet, btw, and find some pretty clever fixes for adding or making new ones. Couple I like are using small bits of carpeting glued to the bottom, and someone else suggested just allowing a dab of glue from a hot glue gun to dry and said it worked well. lol
You probably could contact the company from which you bought your machine and ask for replacements. I remember seeing a post here by Proportable offering to send somebody replacements for an Asus machine.
BTW, welcome to NBR. Hope you enjoy yourself here. -
Lenovo will sell you a set of rubber feet. I bought a set for my X41 after a couple disappeared. They don't sell them individually. I think they cost me about $20 including tax and shipping.

As rubber feet for thinkpad t61p i only found a pack with a lot of little parts inside with a FRU number but not a singolar part... -
Yes I'm sorry I didn't mention that I did not buy the pack of rubber feet online. I called the warranty support number. You can find that by putting your serial number in here. I was out of warranty, but they knew what to sell me.
