I created a USB recovery disk and tried to boot so I can reinstall Windows7 on my SSD

However when I boot from the USB I see the following error

    ""Bootmgr is missing""

    Can someone help?

How did you create the stick?

I had some problems with that

I used the Lenovo recovery tool to create USB stick 1, this stick for physically damaged and is unusable

I took a backup copy of the contents and saved them to another USB stick 2

This is the stick I am trying to boot from now

I was unable to use the Lenovo recovery tool as it only lets me create one recovery disk

Was there something wrong with what I did?

Some people have said try editing a uni file on the recovery drive

Even when I change the explorer settings to show hidden files I don't see anything on the Lenovo recovery drive
