My Bluetooth mouse stopped working on my Yoga 2 Pro (it works fine on other machines). On further investigation, there is no reference to Bluetooth in Device Manager (I believe there should be). I've checked that I have the latest BIOS, Bluetooth driver, etc and rebooted the machine. All to no avail. There's no hardware button that turns Bluetooth on or off, right (the Yoga has some mighty small buttons). Even if there was I assume it should still show up in Device Manager.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

    Mark

No one else seeing this issue? I am getting this pretty regularly, where the Bluetooth service doesn't show up in Device Manager.

I just received my Yoga 2 Pro a few days ago and added a Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard and mouse yesterday. they worked fine up until an hour ago and quit. I type "Bluetooth" in the Windows 8.1 search window and try to turn Bluetooth on. The button appears to be in the wireless area of networks. It does not turn on now. I have the device in my Device Manager with the following: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43). I just uninstalled the device per a TechNet article. Going to reboot now to see if it's detected.

I have experienced the same problem on my Lenovo 2 Pro. I have been using a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse for weeks only to discover last Friday that my mouse would no longer work. I checked settings and saw the Bluetooth menu item but ran out of time and had to close my laptop. Today I went back to check my Bluetooth settings but could not locate the menu item under PC Settings.

After downloading and installing the Bluetooth driver update, I still cannot locate any reference to Bluetooth except under Network settings where I click on Airplane mode and see Bluetooth is set to On. But I have not way of pairing devices and my mouse still will not work. The mouse shows up under devices, but it shows as not connected.

I'm at a loss as to where to go other than to get into the queue on the Lenovo support phone line, but I don't have a block of time to spend waiting at the moment.

Found a Solution to Bluetooth item missing from PC Settings menu:

I discovered that my Bluetooth device had shut down and reference was made to: Code 43: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems.

The solution is found on the following page:

Code 43: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems

I followed the instructions, then went to Settings, Change PC Settings, then PC and Devices -- and there I found the Bluetooth menu item. I clicked on the item and there found my Bluetooth mouse which quickly connected.

    Hope this is of help.
