Well, now that I have the basic stuff with my T60 sorted out, I'm looking for new ways to play with it. ;)

For example, Bluetooth, which I have never before used in any way. But my computer came with it (APP prebuilt, you know), and I have a Bluetooth-capable Motorola E815. I've read on the Web that Verizon has disabled Bluetooth file transfer (I guess so that one would have to buy their stupid cable??? ), but then this site's new review of the Dell e1705 mentions syncing with a RAZR. So, can it be done?

Any other handy little things others have found to do with Bluetooth would be of interest to me, too.

I have a Motorola Q that I've attempted to sync and do Send Object with, and I have had no success with either.

easy peasy between an inspiron 6000 and a sony ericsson k750.

if they did disable something in your phone you'd better start looking there for answers. something that's disabled surely can be enabled again (they might want money though)

I've looked around on the Web and it may be that Verizon has now enabled this feature with a firmware upgrade. Of course, there's nothing about it on their site. Verizon may be the worst company I've ever dealt with. Which would be saying something.

I got the top-of-the-line Sony TV phone at xmas, and the only thing it does NOT have is bluetooth. I didn't care at the time, but now i do.

Get a bluetooth mouse. The logitech powers on/off and battery lasts forever.

It's too late for me, dangit. I bought a USB wireless mouse because I was only dimly aware that Bluetooth mice were even available, and were simpler to use.

I like mine fine, but I could do without having to plug in the dongle.

I got my MX5000 set from them as well, works great. And yes Verizon seems intent on screwing their customers for every cent possible. I've heard rumor that there is hacked firmware on the web that restores the functionality. I had Sprint, and didn't have an opportunity to complain about side features because the phone never got service and I was trying to get them to fix that.
