I have a Z61p and it's been working good for about a month now. The built-in bluetooth feature seemed to be fine when transfering files from and to my cell phone. Just recently I got a Logitech bluetooth mouse and that's when the problem started. When I am using the mouse, the connection would randomly drop after awhile. I tried turning the mouse on and off, but that didn't seem to fix it. Only when I turn the bluetooth on the laptop off then on would the connection be re-established. I am not entirely sure but I am thinking it could be the laptop end that's causing the problem since only resetting its bluetooth would do the trick. Anyone have had the same problem with Z series or possibly know a fix for this?

I have heard about someone with the exact same problem as yours and I believe the solution was to update the bluetooth driver. If Windows Update does not find it for you (which I doubt it will), you should check both the Lenovo and Logitech sites for drivers.

I'm having similar issues with my Lenovo 3000 V100. I'm using a Microsoft Wireless Presenter Notebook 8000 Mouse and it sporadically drops the connection. Same with the Logitech bluetooth mouse I had before. The drivers on Lenovo's site don't seem to help matter at all.

My Asus W5F never had connection issues although it did use a Toshiba chipset. I believe that the Lenovo uses a Broadcom chipset.
