I just got the laptop today, and it come with vista business SP1, drivers and recovery discs. Im very with the laptop coz it looks so good and the rubber-like cover lid and palm rest make me feel so comfortable.
However, I still have some questions about it.
    1. I used to own an Asus laptop, it had a function key for on/off bluetooth. I didnt find it in X301. So, how can I turn on the bluetooth and use my bluetooth mouse.

    2. How to check all the parts number in the easiest way?

    3. Keyboard is cool, but "space" is louder than others button. Is it normal? Kind of different feeling.

    4. I just burned all my recover stuffs from Q drive. What is the next step?
I would like to install Window 7 any step by step thread out there? (I have never done a clean install or something before.) Can I still keep driver S?

    Thank you so much!

Use the parts look up in the sticky.

Never noticed it. Could ask for a new keyboard if it bothers you.

Put the discs in and follow the prompts. It's not too tricky. I suspect W7 will have most of the drivers already.

The spacebar on my keyboard is also louder. Several people have reported this, so I presume it is normal.

    Thanks! Two more questions.
I set auto connect to wirless, but it does not work sometime after reboot.
It showes only local or verifying . So that I need to disconnect it and re-connect. Then, it worked. Driver problem or hardware probelm?

Can I disable the fn+ space?
It so annoying if I witch to another language. (ctrl + space)
    Thanks

If you uninstall the magnifying feature (I know I did, which is why I forgot what it's called exactly), then it's disabled.

For internet, are you using Access Connections, or Vista's built-in manager?
