I would personally get it for that 1-2 times total you will probably use it. I have it with all of my notebooks, and rarely use it even with wireless mice because it draws so much power. If you are syncing with a phone rather frequently it can be handy for that.

I love using my Bluetooth wireless mouse. For me, it's totally worth it.

Bluetooth is commonly used for mice/keyboards, headsets, headphone and with use with Bluetooth enabled printers. I don't use the bluetooth in my machine yet, but I bought it as a kind of future proofing, thinking that some day I might have a Bluetooth mouse and printer.

Even if you call lenovo, they will most likely cancel your current order and open a new order. From what i have heard they usually don't add or subtract changes to the current order.

You can add it later (if you need it) with a bluetooth dongle for about $20-30, it plugs into the usb port.

    Definitely.

I use bluetooth lots - sync contacts with my phone, bluetooth mouse (no dongle to keep track of), occasional tethering through my phone via bluetooth.

I imagine if I used skype or something similar it'd be handy to use a bluetooth headset like I do with my phone.

I use it occasionally to transfer pictures from my cell phone but I could use an SD card adapter for that. I'll pass on Bluetooth when I get a new laptop just cause I use a small USB mouse anyways.

Hey, I passed on my order, it was 24$ extra. I figured that most mices have the USB sync anyways if I ever decide to use one. I can always use the SD card adapter to move information from my phone to my computer. I have it in my car and have never used it either not that it's really relevant to a computer

Go for it. BT is not only useful for mouse and keyboard, but also very useful to connect with mobile phones, PDAs, and other BT devices.

Why not go for it? You already spent a lot of money, $24 isn't going to break the bank and opens up a whole lot more options.

You can change your order most likely...just call and see. Changing your order on the phone before approval is not a big deal at all.

Yeah, I called and mine was already in production. They said it would take 24-48 hours for them to actually get the order and thats a few days delay and I cannot afford that time since I need it for school. The thing about adding bluetooth is 24$ here, 34$ for the better wireless card...another 35$ for fingerprint reader...it all adds up!

I did the same thing. At first I didn't choose bluetooth then asked people in forums if it's worth it. I ended up getting bluetooth.

I have never used it. I played with it once to see if it would work with my bluetooth headset and it works. I also thought I might get a BT mouse and/or keyboard but I didn't.

It's one of those things like the express card slot. If you need it you really need it and you'll be sorry if you didn't get it... but for most people it's rarely used.
