    Is Bluetooth able to be added to a T400 without the option installed on default?

    Found a Lenovo with everything I want but its missing out on Bluetooth. Not sure if this can be added or not. Thanks.

    Lenovo's Bluetooth is inside the case itself.

    Are there any differences other than the fact that the Bluetooth is integrated inside the unit?

    are you asking if you yourself can open up your laptop and add bluetooth? I don't think you can buy an internal bluetooth part and put it inside by yourself.
    If you get a usb bluetooth the function should be the same, although the best buy one said max 7 devices. I don't know if lenovo's internal bluetooth has any restrictions.

    You can buy a spare bluetooth module and install it by yourself. You only need to make sure that it's designed to be used in a Thinkpad.
