Thank you for your kind attention.

I have an x220 running Windows 8.1. I have tried two different bluetooth speakers, a $20 version and a $100 version, and neither one will stay connected past 20-30 minutes. Then I have to follow this sequence - turn off the streaming video, turn off the speaker, turn the speaker back on, turn the streaming video back on, and then the speaker will play again.

I updated everything driver-wise I could find that referenced Windows 8 and bluetooth. Prior to installing 8.0/1 I'd never tried to connect a bluetooth speaker.

I am using a bluetooth mouse and it has always worked.

Both speakers worked fine with my phone (Samsung s4).

I went through all the customer assistance with the speaker people. The first vendor said just send it back. I thought I'd try you guys before sending the second one back too.

    Thank you!
