I have T61 originally with Vista Ultimate, but Lenovo sent me XP SP2 discs as I prefer that operating system. The computer runs so much faster now, but when I leave the computer running with the cover closed and it eventually falls asleep like it is supposed to. On resume the screen lights up fine, till I swipe my finger then it turns black and stays that way. Till either you close and re open the lid or restart it manually.

    Any Help?

I Have up to date, Nvidia Quadro 140MS drivers, Power Management, as well a Bios and all Windows updates.

    Help Please?

    Thanks

This has actually happened to me a couple of times also. It would be a black screen after I hit the Fn key to get out of sleep mode, but I never had to force-restart, just closing and reopening the lid brought my desktop back.
