Do the sales reps usually negotiate "on top of" or "beyond" the Black Friday pricing?

Is the Black Friday pricing stacked (on top of) Barnes and Noble Gold discounting?

Is the Black Friday discounting normally just off of the base configuration, or also off of upgrades (better processor, screen, etc.)?

Is the Black Friday pricing normally available all day, or is best to be online at midnight in case some quota / supply runs out?

The price protection guarantees apply to Black Friday sales, right?

Lenovo probably participates in a BF/CM-style sale, though I doubt that you'd be able to combine it with something like the BN discount. Realistically, the maximum discount you should expect from an OEM would be maybe 25% off the MSRP through haggling and using sales.

As for specific details, the best details you're going to find for this year's sale would be to wait until then. Anything you hear will be a rumor until it's actually true (or false).

And typically with Lenovo, the Black Friday sale will be the same as the Cyber Monday sale. Lenovo sales always end way after the actual date. It would be nice to know. If the B&N discount is not going to get any higher would love to reorder now.
