    Heres the thing:
When I get the Wolcome screen the omnipass Biometric system lights up. now when I sweep my finger across I do get a "Recognise" - and it does "turn green". However it simply doesnot continue to open windows !!!!
Weird !!! So I have no choise but to tnter my Windows Usernamem oassowrd - and then windows starts.
However, when the computer after a "Stant Bye" mode it DOES work !! that means it does allow access via the biometric system.
I might be the one to blaim as I followd a giude (given to me here - an excelent one) and i did tweked with the "Services.msc" thingy...
I have also removed a lot programs from the "Msconfig" menu.
Could it be taht I have disabled some important program ???
    What should I do ?
I would appriciate your help dearly !!!

Try to undue what you did. Also update your laptop to the latest fingerprint software via Thinkvantage button on it.
