Can anyone explain how billing works? So, I placed an initial order and a hold for the full amount of this order was placed on my debit card. That, I understand. When a portion of this order was sent out, another hold for the cost of that item was put on my account in addition to the hold for the full order amount. I don't get this. I understand that they place a hold for the full amount and then take the money when it's shipped. However, is it that they charge you again and cancel the original hold?
