    Anyone observed the history of laptop sales? Will Christmas time be an even bigger sale time than August? And how often does Lenovo offer 10% coupons like the July one that expired last week? I canceled my first order with that discount and would like to have something similar or even better :D

    Guessing when the lowest price will be is a tough road to hoe. No one here is likely to have that information. About the best you can do is watch for a bit so you'll know where the low price is.

    i think may and june was the best price for X61 and X61s. fatwallet 6% + tailormade + coupon.

    whatever the time is, Lenovo's computers (from their site) are always on "sale." :)

    Yeah I can't believe how cheaply I purchased my X61s machines for using SPP and the triple discount code that was available early June...

    $967 - 7% FW discount = ~$910 each!

    I don't have AMEX otherwise I would have received an additional discount on top of that!!!

    That's true, however some models may be eliminated from the market once new models come out, so if you have set your eyes on a certain model, you can't wait for a too remote future :cool:
