Just got my T430(NV5400M Graphics) today, was extremely happy until I hooked it up to my 22" monitor.
The first problem is that it states that the native resolution is 1080 x 1920 but when I change it to that, the entire screen litreally kills your eyes everything turns really bright, very blue and a bit blurry. (My monitor can handle the resolution, it's not that)
Anyways..The real problem is that I Just started to watch a video, and on every one of those videos..A big green bear comes up at the bottom and it the quality of the video that is supposed to be playing 1080p/720/480 etc goes to a really bad CAM copy style as you can see from the video.
This is the video I was watching..
This is the quality that I get:
-
Flash ugliness.
Try to update to the latest NVS 5400M driver at NVIDIA. If the problem persists, turn off hardware acceleration (right click on the video, select Settings... menu item, then uncheck "Enable hardware acceleration"). -
Tsunade_Hime such bacon. wow
I would update Flash, but as Kaso pointed out, I've seen outdated graphics drivers cause the artifacts.
-
EDIT: I have up to date drivers for my graphics card.

NVS 5400M 296.88 Your PC currently has the latest driver installed for your GPU. No driver update is necessary at this time. -
Thank you, it now fully works with no blueish quality or green bar.

I've read of other folks in the Lenovo forums that have had those issues with the 296.88 driver. For those who don't want to go to a Beta driver, you can always go with the 296.80 driver hosted by Lenovo, which has no such issues.

I've been running the beta drivers and am having a strange issue (T520). I see this little pixelated box that appears randomly in all shapes and sizes. Am I alone? Is it the beta drivers or something worse? I'm currently updating to the 306.02 beta drivers hoping they will fix it.
