    Best way to encrypt hard drive on my T61?

    It is dawning on me that to have a lappy with no encryption is not where I want to be. I am thinking of eliminating my desktop and going all mobile. That means I would have some information that5 I would NOT want to put in the hands of bad people.

    So, do I pony up for Vista Ultimate, or is there a way to encrypt my current drive (XP)?

    Hrdware, or software? Thanks for any input. Dave

    There are many HDD available with built in encryption option. Faster more reliable than OS based encryption. Lenovo has 200GB 7200 FDE option.
