    Hi,

I'm deciding between the x1 (older version not the carbon one) and x220 for best typing experience. I had a T410 previously, which I detested. I do like the chiclet design, but I'm also open to the older Thinkpad keyboard. When I say "best," I mean in terms of responsiveness, lack of flex, and general feel.

    Any thoughts?

X220 uses the same keyboard as the T410.

Ouch. Well, I guess I'll have to ditch it, as the keyboard was the single most painful experience of my long life.
