Just wondering. I recently bought a 4-cell for my X61 to complement the larger 8-cell I have on Ebay. It was an off-brand, "Stiger" battery. It worked fine for a few days, then I was lucky to hold a 20 minute charge on it. I promptly returned it.

Where should I order a 4-cell for when I don't quite need the bulk and battery life of an 8-cell battery?

    Thanks!

Right, these seem incredibly difficult to come by. Guess I'll keep looking, though.

DIRECT with Lenovo. UNless you find a person selling a GENUINE one that has a recent manufacture date.
