    What screen and hard drive should I pray my X61 was assembled with? Any other parts that can have a range of quality?

    I haven't heard or read any screen or hard drive problems on the X61. You should be fine.

    Is there a difference between the brands of the various screens used (some brighter than others? less prone to dead pixels? whatever)? I don't care much for hitachi drives, but i suspect most thinkpads use them
