Hello. I have a Lenovo Y50 purchased a few months ago that I'm looking to sell and am wondering if anyone has tips other than eBay (or maybe even) to get the best value out of it. I'm primarily concerned since I've made a couple very nice upgrades to it that I'm concerned could get lost in the shuffle on eBay and cause me to get less than it might be worth. It works great, but I don't have the time for gaming that I hoped I might so I'm parting with it to get a Surface Pro 3 instead.

Specifically I replaced the Lenovo issued 1 TB hard disk with a Samsung 750GB 840 Evo SSD and replaced the Lenovo LCD with a AUO B156HAN01.2 panel. After these updates it's a really nice machine and I want to be sure I get the best value from it. Other than that it has the factory 16 GB RAM and nVidia 860m w/4GB for video.

I've been a long time eBay member with perfect feedback, so that helps, but eBay isn't really my favorite place to do business. If anyone has any suggestions that'd be great.

    Thanks.

Perhaps selling the SSD separately might help your cause.

Sell the SSD seperate, and sell the original LCD display separately.

Yes, for some reason, computers are often worth more as separate components than as a whole. That SSD is worth far more sold off on its own.
