I was just wondering if anybody had any opinions for the best deal on EPP right now for ~$1500 bucks.

The laptop is going to be used mainly for office apps and weekly powerpoint presentations.

Weight is not an issue since it will not be carried often.

Whatever model I get the warrenty will be upgraded to 3 years onsite.

    thanks for any opinions....

Check out the HP dv2000 or dv6000 series, you can get a maxed out system for around $1400 or so with EPP and the 3 year is around $250 but you can configure it alittle under maxed out :p

Also look into some of HP's business models as they are a bit more durable however are consequentially more expensive.

I think you should decide what your need then go from there.

Don't forget that all sales on EPP are final and you cannot return them.

I spoke to a lenovo rep that I have been dealing with for the last year. They actually changed the return policy. If it is open box you are still subject to a 15% restocking fee, but if you return and order a better laptop they waive the 15%.
