    what brand/model should i get? my 100gb one from lenovo is running outa space :(

    i've looked around and i see mostly western digital and seagate?

    Seagate 7200.3 250GB. Very fast, power efficient and cheap.

    what's the difference between the 7200.3 and 7200.10? the .10 is like $50 cheaper

    .1 is the first generation, way slower. Go for 7200.3

    Or WD5000BEVT is very good too. 500GB.

    WD Scorpio Black 320GB. 7200rpm, quiet, cool.

    You can't go wrong with Hitachi, WD or Seagate.

    Scorpios can be had for about $100.
