    Hello,

I would like to buy N ADSL router, so what do you recommend for me? Belkin or Linksys?

I have always favoured Linksys, probably because of their stemming from Cisco Systems. Also I find that their firmware is easy to configure too.

I know that you said Linsys or Belkin, but I would go with the D-Link. If you got your T61 with the Thinkpad wireless it uses the same family of chipset as as the D-Link DIR-655. I've had a DIR-655 for a couple of months with my T61 and it works great.

If you can hold off, you may want to get the DIR-855 since it uses both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency ranges which the Thinkpad chipset is capable of (of course, I don't know what the drivers are capable of). I had asked D-Link when it was coming out and they responded with August.

I really haven't had very much good luck with Belkin wireless products.

Mine is T61 but with Intel ABGN, not ThinkPad wireless.

Does it have WDS for connecting range extender?

i wouldnt trust belkin with a router, however their newest router with the touch screen LCD is very impressive. If it was cheaper I would've picked one up to toy around with it.

I personally always have and probably always will use linksys equipment.

I like the D-Link Xtreme DIR-655 mentioned above. It is really fast with my T61.
