Some of you might have seen my other thread, I spilled a liter of water on my T61. Now everything works fine. EXCEPT:

When plugged in (whether the dock or the chord) It will sometimes charge normally, and sometimes make a sound and flash like its being plugged in and out (and also show the brightness meter that comes up when plugging in/out). When this happens the battery doesn't charge, but also doesn't deplete. "Plugged in, not charging."

    Kind of annoying...

It should charge to 100, My charge thresholds aren't stopping it.

I think you should remove the palmrest and keyboard bezel and keyboard and leave the interior of the machine in the sun for about eight hours and try the experiment again.

I will try this if happens again. Seems to be okay for now. Does anyone know if water damage is covered by the warranty (or if there is even a way to tell that it was damaged by water?)

So I tried drying it out. No difference. It also makes a hiss coming from the back when this happens....
