    Hey guys,

My battery charge thresholds to start charging when battery is below 50% and to max out at 75%. When I came back today, I believe the battery was around 65% but I put the power cord back in like I usually do. I assumed that it would simply not charge the battery but provide power to the laptop.

When I turned it on, the battery is fully charged. This is the first time that the charging threshold did not work.

Any hints as to what may have happened? I checked the settings again and nothing seems to have been changed.

    Thank you.

    **edit**

I did remove the battery when I took the laptop out today. Maybe that had something to do with it?

Right now, the battery is at 97% charge and I plugged the power cord in. It says it is not charging so that is a good thing.

Thinkpad T530. Should have mentioned it in first post. Thanks.
