Ok, now that i read some stuffs about t61's batteries, I have some questions about them, please answer them.
1) is it true that 6 cell battery in a 14" t61 is an "outty" (lol) or more specifically, there's a 2" battery piece coming out?
2) How long is 6 cell battery life in a 14" t61 with nvidia quadro? And a 4 cell?
3) How long is the 6 cell battery life in a t61p?
thanks again for the help

The specs should give you some idea of the relative differences. The absolute numbers are optimistic. See page 3

2. Approximately 2 hrs with 6-cell. 1.5 hrs with 4-cell. Battery life depends on other factors such as screen brightness. You can probably squeeze 2.5 hrs with the 6-cell if you tweaked your power settings.
3. Probably 2 hrs. -

Yes, I have the 14.1" T61 Widescreen with 140M.

Are you series? I thought the 6 cell sticks out about 1.1" on the widescreen T61. Are you sure about that with your measurements?

I want widescreen.
I don't like any battery that sticks out because i handle a looot my laptops. Also, i preffer 14" and long living batteries. -
