Is the Lenovo site the best place to buy a battery? Just wondering if there are any alternatives since the battery from Lenovo is $190. I guess it's a normal price but it feels way high. I'd rather get something for under $100 if possible. Thanks!

    Have you tried the outlet?

I didn't know about the outlet until now. It seems they have a refurb 4-cell battery, which was discontinued last year. $45 is a fine price for a battery - are refurb batteries ok?

I think they're fine. I got one for my R60 last year. It has performed like a new battery. I think the downside is there's only a 90 day warranty, but at those prices you could almost buy four refurbed batteries for the cost of a new one. One of the four's gotta work out, right?
