Looking for another battery preferrably a high capacity, but am willing to get a standard. My question is what is the difference w/all the different part numbers? 08k8197, 08k8214 are what I got from the IBM site, however there are others like 08k8192.....Is there a difference between OEM models, and generic as far as life and performance? If anyone could help with a good site for batteries that won't cost an arm and a leg would be greatly appreciated.

Pricegrabber is a good place to look batteries. Search by the IBM part number. I would not buy a battery that is manufactured by a third party. Good Luck.
