this is a simple and quiet dumb question but how do I charge brand new Lenovo battery on T500 ? I can`t really find any info in the booklet.

I thought it if I install it and leave it in, it`ll do the job but it doesn`t work.

    thanks
    Marcin

What do you mean it doesn't work??
If you put the battery in the laptop but it doesn't pick up any charge, it's either the battery or adapter is defective.

If your computer is plugged in, it should charge while it is in the battery bay. If it is not charging, there may be a problem with the battery. Since you say the battery is new, you should be able to order a replacement free under warranty.
