I know that each case is unique and everyone will get different mileage depending on usage patterns but I'm curious to hear what people are getting for life cycle vs capacity numbers on their 6/9 cell batteries. If anyones got time post how old your laptop is and what the Lenovo power utility is reporting for your batteries fully charged capacity. Also post what the stated designed capacity is and if its a 6/9 cell.

I think with batteries you got gotta go with the flow, when there knackered then get a new one. Not that expensive really.

Yep, I agree, I think too many people put too much into trying to preserve everything they can out of their batteries. A friend of mine once proposed that batteries should give you no information at all outside of how long they'll last so that people can't obsess over them I'm more curious to see how long the Lenovo batteries seem to be going before giving out. Mostly this is because on my HP the battery would hold only 50 percent of it's original charge after 6 months (and I only used it maybe once a week on battery). So I'm curious if the Lenovo batteries are a bit higher in quality then that.
