I've got a T530 with an i5 3360M and the NVS5400M dGPU, 90W brick (only one lenovo offered with my configuration). When plugged in the battery will charge and remain charged during normal operation (programming, browsing web, media, etc.) It is only when I start playing a game that the battery begins to discharge. For example, I was playing Portal 2, everything at max settings for a few hours (~5hrs) and when I closed it my battery was at 11%, is this normal?

It is a clean windows 7 install with the PM driver and application. Power Plan is Power Source Optimized and battery charge mode is optimized for battery lifespan.

It's because you are playing under FULL performance, the laptop will use over than 90 Watts of power (Playing extreme 3D game on Dedicated Graphic Card) which also happen on Dell, HP, SONY laptops.

A bigger power adapter should solve the issue.
