I have an IBM T42 Laptop. When I put it on sleep the laptop still uses a lot of battery power. If I leave it on standby over night the battery will be dead by morning. When it is on stand by and you put the laptop to your ear it sounds like the hard drive is still spinning. Right now I put it on hibernate to avoid it but this can get very annoying. Is there a way to fix this?
