Does anyone have experience with the battery replacement warranty? All it says on the order setup page is that it's a "no questions asked" battery replacement plan for the duration of the warranty. Presumably it's just that and there's nothing else one needs to know about it? Happy to hear whatever comments you have.

The only thing I know is that it's good for 1 year, as opposed to the 3 years for the rest of the machine. (unless you bought extended warranty for your bat). The rest is pretty much self-explanatory: no questions asked!

there are 3 years warranty for battery in certain Thinkpads, but they are rare and quite expensive to purchase (cost about the same as a new battery, and you are only eligible for one replacement, one reason is that Lenovo covers the post 1 year warranty themselves. As opposed to the 3 years warranty that used the Boston power cells, where Lenovo Boston Power covers replacement within the 3 years period).

lenovo still have not fixed up my warranty entitlement, after half a dozen calls, each time assuring me that the entitlement will be fixed the within the 24 hours. I am seriously considering anything brand for my next laptop.
