Hey!
I'm really curious as to the battery life of the IdeaPad Y430. I checked it out the other day at Circuit City (RIP, not) and I came away really impressed as to what I had thought was just another crappy consumer laptop. The build quality was really good, it didn't feel like another cheap plastically laptop. And the fact, that I can get it fully speced out for under a grand is amazing! The bang for the buck is tremendous. My only concern is the battery life and the exact dimensions. I could only find one decent review on the Y430 that said the battery life was around 2 hours (!?) which seems extremely low for a 14.1" laptop.
If anyone could help me out here with those two specs of information, I'd be extremely grateful.
Thanks,
Eric Huang

I bought the Y430 from Circuit City and have to praise the battery life of the laptop. I used it for over 3 hours without no problems on average. That is above average battery life.

On the power saver mode, I was able to keep the laptop on for nearly 4 hours.
