I notice the Extreme lists 55W's. Just wondering if there is an implication on battery life? If the system is running in "Power Saving Mode", will they all run the same life assuming you are not pushing the graphics?

The new processors are smart. 55W is more of a "performance" rating that defines how hard the processor can push itself in a turbo mode. In regular usage and low power usage your actual consumption will be in the low watts.

The Extreme will be worse on battery, but all of them will have worse battery life than Arrandale based systems. Plus it won't have switchable graphics, so with Nvidia graphics, I expect the 6 cell to get 2 hours, 9 cell 3 hours.
