I had my Z61t for about 9 months now. Everything was working fine until yesterday, when the battery indicator light turned to orange(warning) and keeps blinking constantly. The system does not power up on battery. It works fine when on AC power. Is my battery dead?

Windows power manager says '20% battery available, plugged in and not charging' . I have removed and put the battery in place again to check for any loose contact. But nothing worked. Please help me out and if the battery is dead will lenovo replace my battery since the notebook is still in the 1 year warranty.
    Thanks in advance

Update: Just contacted Customer Support and told them the entire story. The rep was very friendly and she asked for details like Serial Number, system type, battery FRU number. Probably she was checking for the warranty status on the battery and she told me I would be getting a new battery within 2-3 business days and a return label for the old battery.

Excellent customer support from Lenovo. Never expected it to be this simple.
