    Batteries stick out the back on Thinkpad?

    I'm confused about whether any of the batteries stick out the back of the t520.

    On the lenovo.com ordering page, under battery choices, it says:

    "Note: The 6, 7, 8, and 9 cell batteries are larger than the standard 4 cell battery and extend beyond the back of the notebook. They are also slightly heavier than the standard 4 cell battery. "

    But a 4-cell battery isn't standard on the t520.

    It's outdated information, dating back to the T400. The T520's standard 6-cell battery is entirely flush with the chassis, while the 9-cell sticks out the back a bit less than 1 inch and is flush with the bottom.

    although... elsewhere the website shows the 6 and 9 cell having the same dimensions:

    Yeah, that's most definitely wrong... I'd like to see a battery with 9-cells take up the same space and weigh the same as one with 6-cells :p

    Only the 9-cell battery "sticks out the back" of the T520. The 6-cell does not.
