    Base warranty - 3 years???!!!

    Hi All,
    MY T61 has shipped and I received its serial number. I was looking at the parts information when I clicked on the warranty info.
    I had gotten the 1 year base warranty while ordering..but on the website it shows that I have a 3 year warranty till 2010 with EZserv!!! I don't know what's going on. Is the base warranty 3 years? I should mention that I got the system through EPP. Does that mean all EPP buyers get a 3 year warranty?
    Is it a mistake by Lenovo and should I start celebrating? Please help. I am confused.

    Start celebrating. It could be that the EPP machine you bought came with a 3 year warranty though.

    My T61 also came with the same little 3 year gift. I have heard of only a handful of others. I have been told it will change back to 1 year on the warranty website, but so far so good. Check the website though, says standard warranty is 3 years parts with 1 year labor.
